Summer fishing is in full swing with a nice flounder resurgence in the bay the past week. There is also a good number of kingfish and croaker being caught near the inlet. Off the surf the kingfish bite has been consistent with the bulk of them being caught early in the morning with blues, croaker, and the occasional pompano too. For those looking to target something a little bigger the shark fishing in the evening has been excellent.
